Description of the organization and its board of directors

The Foundation for the Defense of People's Rights and Freedoms is a non-profit organization that was created on May 7, 2020.The current board of directors is made up of Mr. Stéphane Blais, CPA, Ms. Caroline Mailloux and Mr. Jean-Jacques Crèvecœur.

The mission of the organization

The mission of the organization is defined as follows:

-Ensure that a pro-citizen organization, funded by Quebec and Canadian citizens or SMEs run by Quebec and Canadian citizens, ensures that the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of Canada are protected for each Quebec citizen and each Canadian citizen.


The strategies put in place to achieve the mission of the organization:


To do this, the organization's strategy will be as follows:

- Targeting, in the social, economic and political environment, gross violations of the constitutional rights of citizens;

-Ensure, for each violation of citizens' rights, to hire and finance in whole or in part, the most qualified groups of lawyers in the country;

-Ensure, for each case of violation of rights or potential of violation of rights, to bring together the largest national and international authorities within the working groups set up by the foundation in order to establish the most solid arguments which will serve as evidence during the ongoing testimony and during our public communications with the population;

-Create an international network of citizens united for the cause of protecting citizens;

-Raising public funds permanently in order to defend and prevent the violation of citizens' rights.
